My life so far in 2012

It's been a looong time since I've written anything and let me tell you, soo much has changed in my life. Many people have come and went and some have left to follow their paths, other new people have arrived and have affected my life in positive ways. I've been to many places outside of my home city Miami and outside my home state. I've fallen in love with places like Morgantown, West Virginia, Saint Cloud, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and of course the wonderful BIG APPLE New York City, New York.

I have to say that life in Miami and my perspective of it has changed drastically since visiting all these grand places. I no longer feel like I belong in the Magic City, since it has turned into a mediocre third world country with people who don't give a shit about it nor do their best to improve life for anyone. This is a place where if you ain't ghetto, rich, or Latino, then you will have a very difficult time adapting. The party aspect for sure has never interested me, and I feel that many here just live off of that alone. Anyway.....

I'm in a relationship with my bf Jose whom I've been with now for almost two years. He has filled my life with the bliss of love and has been everything that I wanted in a bf. He is doing a lot to better himself and I am very proud of him for that. Even though things are looking tough because of economical problems and perhaps some personal future goals, we will be together for as long as destiny allows it. For now we take things step by step.

I'm still working at Publix and it's getting more annoying by the day, and customers are becoming more and more spoiled each time. I seriously think everyone thinks that we Publix associates LIVE in the damned store. I've lost count of the so many people who have come to Publix and ended up leaving some point in time, while some people just need to retire already hahaha! everyone wants to leave and some have gone out  of the city. Maybe it's a sign?

10 years later

 What can I say? it's been 10 years since my last blog, a lot has happened since then. There's so much that I want to say but it won't all fit in this post so I'll just talk about the most important things that have happened to me since 2012.  2013: This was my very last year in Miami, I had just finished up my second semester in FIU and I was needing to find a place of my own since my mom was losing her house. Video Games? Immature?? How??!

So I was eating something with my friend sitting next to me talking to his boy-toy, and he suddenly asked in a very sarcastic way "oh so you're playing video games?", and my ear twitched to the sound of these words since it meant that he had a problem with video games. I asked him if he didn't like video games and then the bitch tells me that video games are for immature straight boys! how absured is that?? and then he went on calling me immature because I play them and that I should be ashamed of myself for confessing that in public. I felt right there that our friendship took a slight turn. No one has ever, ever been able to criticize me or stop me from playing video games, and I wasn't ganna let this guy change my mind. 2012 Woes

2012 ended with a bang! and by that I mean it ended with an endless popping of fireworks everywhere. Can't say much has changed since then. I feel that all my hopes and dreams have been put to a halt because life just wants to be interesting like that. Before the closing of 2012, a customer of mine who is a Flight Attendant for AA informed me that they were finally hiring, and that they were hiring at least 500 people for In-Flight services. I for once felt that this was the best news I've heard in a long time and I was overcome with hope for the future, my future. A Flight Attending position that pays $20 per hr? Yes please! I'll be doing what I love which is traveling and earning good money, and most likely be transferred to another city as home base.
