10 years later
What can I say? it's been 10 years since my last blog, a lot has happened since then. There's so much that I want to say but it won't all fit in this post so I'll just talk about the most important things that have happened to me since 2012. 2013: This was my very last year in Miami, I had just finished up my second semester in FIU and I was needing to find a place of my own since my mom was losing her house. It was definitely an important year because it was the end of a long chapter in my life, where I had spent most of my childhood and part of my young adult life, no more Publix and no more chusmeria. 2014: On July 4th, early in the morning, my friend Frank, his buddy Mustafa and I, set out at 5am. We were bound for West Virginia, about 24 hours by car from Miami. I gave a big hug to my mom and told her I loved her, and from that moment on, I knew I had to take care of myself.
